Pay Scale: The Pay band of the said post is ₹14,000 – ₹70,000 (PB-2) with a Grade Pay of ₹8,700 also the allowances are per the Assam Government rules.
Educational Qualification
Assistant Teacher (Science / Graduate)
- Graduate from a UGC-recognized University
- B.T / B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized Institution
Hindi Teacher (Graduate)
- Pravin / Ratna in Hindi OR
- B.A with Hindi as one of the subjects from a UGC-recognized University
- B.T / B.Ed from an NCTE-recognized Institution
- Prangnat degree will be treated as equivalent to B.Ed only for the purpose of Hindi teaching
Age Limit (as on 1st January 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 years
- Maximum Age:
- General / Unreserved: 40 years
- Ex-Servicemen: 42 years
- OBC / MOBC: 43 years
- SC / ST (P) / ST (H): 45 years
- Persons with Disability (PwD): 50 years
Age relaxation is applicable as per Assam Government rules.
